The Peanuts Movie Official Trailer

— Posted by Mo Baptiste

I was not a big fan of Charlie Brown while growing up. Born in the late ’80s, by the time I started watching this “classic”, it was well past its prime. However, this 2015 rendition of Charlie Brown, in my opinion, captured the essence of Blockhead and the gang. What specifically catches the viewer’s attention is the animation. It is astonishing. I do not know what style was incorporated. The visuals appear to be a fusion between 2-dimensional, stop motion, with a touch of 3-dimensional aspects. I am not entirely 100% sure, but whatever it is, keep doing it. The characters were fun and delightful. Hands down, Snoopy was the best. Period. And, the plot is relevant to people of all ages. All and all, I am looking forward in seeing this film. After experiencing this trailer, you will too.

"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy, and I can’t do that as Bruce Wayne. As a man, I’m flesh and blood; I can be ignored, I can be destroyed. But as a symbol… as a symbol I can be incorruptible. I can be everlasting."

—Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman from Batman Begins, 2005
