First pic of Paul Rudd in Ant-Man emerges
— Posted by Ryan
We’ve been anticipating how Paul Rudd we do in Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man film and today we got our first glimpse from a visual perspective. The image pictured above shows a darker character rather than the usual funny man we’re so used to seeing. Dressed in darker clothing with a brooding stare, Paul Rudd looks very different against the dreary San Francisco background.
Earlier this year we were shown the concept art for the upcoming film from SDCC 2014. The suit pictured below is most likely the suit that Paul Rudd will be wearing as Scott Lang’s version of “Ant-Man.” Michael Douglas will portray the original “Ant-Man” which we know as Hank Pym while Rudd’s character (Scott Lang) is meant to be more of an action man than any sort of scientist. The question is, “Can Rudd pull off a serious role?” I think so. Paul Rudd didn’t get his start in comedy, he just fell into the genre. Outside of the troubles the film has had, I think we all may be pleasantly surprised by his performance. This post was written by :

He has been an avid fan of both the theater and cinema since an early age and his passion for both has been continually growing ever since. When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward.
