TONS of new footage in this Japanese trailer for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

Not to be outdone by all the Japanese coverage surrounding all the other comic book related films releasing this year the folks behind “The Amazing Spider-Man” has released a new trailer crafted for the overseas audience that unleashes a great amount of previously unseen footage of Spidey and THe Lizard in action.

That’s a really great look at the film that has been surrounded by a lot of mystery thus far. We got to see a young Peter Parker and his interactions with his parents and we got to get a look at Peter’s relationships with both Gwen Stacy and a eerie Dr. Curt Connors. I was really interested in Peter’s interaction with Curt Conner and Peter flexing his scientific muscle. It’s a good reminder that there’s a genius donning the tights and its nice to see that aspect of his character advertised in a trailer.

Out of all the comic related films releasing this year I still have the most apprehension with Spider-Man. As much excitement as I have for the character I have been unable to shake the feeling that something is missing. Something feels off. Something’s not right and I can’t help it. I really want to like this movie and I’m really hoping I change my feelings after release but at the moment I’m just being apprehensively optimistic.
