We’ve seen dozens of set photos, a couple of trailers, and have read the official synopsis for Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man”. We have a good impression of what will go down while Peter Parker is in costume and takes on the Lizard and how his history as an orphan will play out within the story. Today we get a look at Andrew Garfield in the day in the life as Peter Parker. Let’s watch!

Not bad! Not great. As far as a first look goes this is mildly disappointing in that it doesn’t show any of the unique personality aspects of Peter Parker other than he has rotten luck and people tend to treat him like crap. It doesn’t highlight his wit or creative personality. I’m setting lofty expectations for a simple clip but can you honestly blame me for having lofty expectations?
