A new teaser poster is out for The Runaways staring Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart.
I was surprised to see a poster that brought back more focus to the band in this girl rock biopic instead of seeing Stewart and Fanning.
I am sure we will get a rock pose Fanning and Stewart poster sometime, but this one is as good as any to remind you this isn’t “That Twilight Girl” movie and that its about the band. I am curious to see if Stewart can outrun that character, or if I will ever see Fanning as more than 8 years old in my head.

I’m still unsure whether or not I want to see this. I like the band, but I’m usually turned away by biographical films.

anyone remember the movie that had Joan Jett and Micheal J Fox in a band? That was somethin’ I saw a shitload of times on cable back in the 80’s but cant remember the name
okay i saw images of Stewart and Fanning, and OH MY GOD does she look identical to Joan Jett when she released Cherry Bomb.
Like- IDENTICAL.
And theres an image of Dakota Fanning with blood dripping down from between her legs, which almost made me puke.
But they both look like theyre nailing the role
I love this poster and so glad it’s not your typical bunch of girls standing there looking bad ass. The buzz out of Sundance is really good especially for the performance by both Fanning and Stewart. I really hope Kristin can stop her lip biting and playing with her hair because right now I’m over her as an actress.

It’s a cool poster, but not as far away from the Twilight franchise as you think. I mean, look at all that black background and single red object in the middle, right out of a Twilight book cover.
